Owner
Paul Miller
My name is Paul Miller and I own MasterCraft Cabinets, MCC. MCC has been in business in Michigan since 1990. Prior to this, I had a cabinet shop in Eagle River, Alaska from 1987. Prior to this, I was a residential builder from 1980.
I am fourth generation Leelanau County. Both of my Great Grandfathers on my mother's side moved to Leelanau County in the 1860's. Both were woodworkers. One a carpenter and the other a cabinet maker. They were Czech and I grew up and live in Bohemian Settlement. People often ask me how I got into woodworking and cabinetry. I
don't have a ready answer, but I believe there is something in my genes that lead me to cabinetry.
Our shop is unique in that we are totally custom. You have seen our work. Custom is not difficult. We have a system and usually we are making modifications to existing drawing. Additionally, we have a wide selection of tooling. There isn't anything I've seen that we cannot do. I have great respect for Old World craftsmen like my Grandfather and Great Grandfathers, I don't know how they did it. For me, we use CNC routers, Plasma cutters and welders, computer generated drawings, tools unavailable to the Old World craftsmen.
I went to college at Wayne State University and worked at Pontiac Motors in final assembly, 83 cars an hour. GM was a good company, but the work left me empty. Nothing fulfilling about working in mass production. That's why we do what we do. There is some of us in every thing we do.

Craftsman
Ron Holtcamp
Hi, I’m Ron Holtcamp and I am the shop leader at MasterCraft cabinets. I began working at MasterCraft in 1997. I began my career in woodworking and finishing in 1986 when my father acquired a small furniture stripping and repair shop. Working alongside him I learned about finishing furniture and the process involved after 10 years. I was ready for more and began my time with MasterCraft. Since that time, I have enjoyed the consistently evolving woodworking industry. It is now my focus to maintain and pass along my Knowledge to the younger craftsman at MasterCraft cabinets.

Office Manager
Jenni Henderson
I am so happy to have discovered MasterCraft Cabinets and their talented staff. Starting with
design, Jenni is a creative problem-solver who can see a space and design the perfect cabinet, bookshelf, island, or range hood.
I know because these are a few of the things
I needed in our home and they have turned out beautifully.
Great design has to go hand in hand with the building and installation of the product. Ron and his staff build, paint and install custom products so they look like they were meant for that particular space. To top it off, the staff at MasterCraft are easy to deal with. They work with you to make your vision a reality. They are responsive to your questions and ideas. They want you to to be happy with their work, and go the extra mile to ensure a positive outcome. Check them out….you will be amazed at how their finish work enhances your building!
Here's whats happening in the shop
If they tell you it can't be done, bring it to us.
